The reign of the Amazones.
Take, Male, this new reign is destined to you.


Al fine de le sue parole il ladro le mani alzò con amendue le fiche, gridando: «Togli, Dio, ch'a te le squadro!». Da indi in qua mi fuor le serpi amiche, perch'una li s'avvolse allora al collo, come dicesse 'Non vo' che più diche'; e un'altra a le braccia, e rilegollo, ribadendo sé stessa sì dinanzi, che non potea con esse dare un crollo. Ahi Pistoia, Pistoia, ché non stanzi d'incenerarti sì che più non duri, poi che 'n mal fare il seme tuo avanzi?


RETURN TO THE PORTAL OF HELL


"Then the satyr, who cannot wait no more, plunge into the water, he seizes the child who quarrels, steel from her by struggling, kisses and caresses, and he slips his hands under her body, against her will, he caress her chest and her buttocks; furtively he introduces his penis into her vulva and activates himself nervously in it without letting the child the time to understand neither the hope to enjoy it. The Queen of the Amazones, who sat on her throne, raised the index by making the mimic to ass-fuck the invincible one, she shouted while being made well heard by her ministers: "Take this, Male, this new reign is intended for you!" Through all the dark circles of hell, I did not see any spirit stand up in a so vehement way against the Male. Since this time, man was not allowed any more to procreate, nor woman to give birth and that the embracing of these two natures was prohibited to them, not only by the laws but also through their own nature. Because Proserpine, who was passing by, by chance, heard favorably the wishes of the Queen of the Amazones. Then, their two bodies intermingled in an intimate union so that they had nothing any more but a single aspect. One could see them joining and growing together as the same branch and they were no more two beings, since their members intermingled in a tough embrace; and yet they took part in a double nature and without one could be able to say that it was a male or a female child, the aspect was that of neither one nor the other, at the same time that, it was that of both at the same time. The child saw that this limpid water, where she had entered as a female, had made her half a female and that, to have bathed in there, the heat of her senses had been metamorphosed. Stretching her hands, but with a voice that was already no more that of a child, hermaphrodite, because it was her name, exclaimed: "Grant this grace, Ho nourishing Mother, to your progeny who bears your two names, that any being who will plunge into this water loses at once his virility or her femininity and comes out from there neither man nor woman, but faunas who could be named FeMale or otherwise." And she fell asleep on these wishes."(1) After Ovide had finished his tale, he greeted Baudelaire and left us as quickly and discrettly as he appeared to us. I plunged myself in a prolonged silence looking at these depossessed beings who had ceased loving each other and, I thought that the laws of this circle of Hell, were too cruel for me to establish there my mortal dwell.
